Callum may keep saying he is intelligent, and may have better exam results but he has little or no street smarts and I, as an intelligent woman, would take no pleasure in taking the mickey out of someone less clued up than me

To me, when people do that, its because they themselves are ignorant

I notice Dexter never had it out with Dan, when Dan said stuff about him, he wont argue with the twins either, nor Jackie, nor Hazel, nor Gina, nor Charlie, nor Michael, nor Sophie (he got told by Sam last night and went to bed lol) not Sallie, not Jemima (who he said he wanted to have sex with )

Basically dexter would not have a go at any of the above but picked on Callum cause Dan etc were doing so and he though he was easy pickings

it just so happens they both went for Charlie .....but does dexy really like Charlie? who knows.....dexy is playing the game.....callum is playing it for real
callum doenst seem to have an on off switch to release his tensions....he cant switch off
dexy can....he saunters through it all in a detached manner often and that grates callum more....its a clash of style personalities and cultures
sadly callum cannot control his jealousy and raging insecurities
dexter needs to find more empathy and understand that though it is a game, people have feleings too....
he has picked his battles no doubt, but in this case callum brought the battle to him too
