Well clearly, there are children whose parents don't or are unable to monitor their children's online activity. Children these days can and will run rings around their parents with technology. You as mods, as people who have more than a slight grasp of these things, have a moral responsibility to not let these things grow.
When such comments are made the people who make them should be lambasted publicly for it, by a moderator explaining exactly why. So that an example can be set for the younger members. I myself have calmly and effectively put a few children on here in their place for making comments that they should not be making. That really should be your job.
