Of course there were. Just because it's not in the news and not everyone knows what is going on, doesn't mean it's not happening.

Oh yes, we are keeping track of Suraj Manhostenfergle and we know he was last seen in area X, but it's okay to tell everyone! It's not like he will find out if we tell the public!

Why should the public find out if there are bad decisions made every once in a while? Every single job has their mistakes.

I could maybe understand why people are so interested in this guy if he hadn't put the lives of so many people in danger. He's a total idiot.

No ... You are sadly so misguided the guy is a hero for standing up for people , you seem to have a very strange warped view of things... Bad things happen to innocent people because power has corrupted certain individuals who think they can play God and in the process trample all over anybody they choose...!!!

I think you're very misguided Nedusa, you seem to think it's more important to make sure we don't infringe on terrorists rights. And at the same time you criticizing people who put their lives on the live protecting you.

The spies who are observing populations in the west are doing it to protect the countries here from attacks. What's the alternative? Stop spying and let the terrorists do what they want? It sometimes seems to me that if you had you're way, we'd be wearing yashmaks.

Spying on people isn't a bad thing.

What ??? I'm not saying any of those things, I'm only saying that we the people also have the right to know if our spymasters become a little too over keen in their spying actions which result in corners being cut and actions taken which are unfair, unjust , undemocratic and illegal.

All I'm asking for is accountability , innocent people should not have to suffer and be labelled as "Collateral damage" because someone in a position of extreme power thinks it's for the greater good...
