If you were locked up in a house with someone who hates you for calling the police on her husband (which he was perfectly entitled to do) and then spends all their time needlessly goading you to try and make you look bad would you snap and bring it up?
I don't particularly like either of them, but if I were trying to keep the secret of my hatred...secret, I'd be too scared of what might come out were I constantly bear-baiting. And hey, now people under the age of 40 have heard of Frank Carson
