Well you said they are intelligent types, seeing as you've only seen them for a few minutes, I assumed you were basing that on their appearance.

Was just an observation, not particularly of you, but the view most people have in general. You put someone in a smart suit, shove a copy of the Times under their arm and people assume he/she is a big deal.
