The writing in this show has become really lazy and complacent and ultimately infuriating. If you're going to spend most of the season building up to something then you need some sort of payoff, you can't just delay it until the next season. S3 was pretty much an anti climactic build up to a disappointing finale and they dragged the Governer story for as long as possible and they did the same in S4 too because they have to fill up 16 episodes a season when this series should have no more than 10 episodes a season at most. Less is more. |
