Saw this on the news a couple of days ago and it said she'd gone to a mens volleyball match unaware that women weren't allowed to go, she thought that was no longer the law

a Demo outside of the game.

And she is a London Law Student

Arista - You post some valid points but it's the cold, harsh, unsympathetic way you post which I don't understand. She may be a fool for doing what she did, but I believe she did it for the right reasons and I actually admire her courage.

Iran is an oppressive, country with draconian laws run by an Islamic extremist tyrant, and I, for one, hope that this brave girl's stance is the small fissure in the dam which will keep growing larger, until, one day - hopefully not too long in coming - the entire evil dam collapses.

In the meantime I pray that she arrives back to her home here in Britain, safe and sound.

(And this is the type of barbaric regime that some on here would allow to eventually be installed in Britain rather than fight these madmen now in Syria in an attempt to stop them?)
