It's just the next chapter of the John James thing (which itself was an extension of the Siavash thing, the Darnell thing, and the Ziggy thing) and I don't care for it at all.

Well, I guess we viewed him very differently I wouldn't see Aaron as anywhere similar to those others you've mentioned. Also, he was with Maisy before Faye and him were a "thing"
