If the offensive term was directed towards a group I was connected with then I would feel very strongly about it, when you're not directly affected it's easy to be blasé I suppose.

Well tbh I dont really agree with banning words at all. I think it gives the person using them too much relevance. Ignoring stuff like this and writing the user off as an idiot is much more my thing, not getting in a flap about it
