We do not know why the girl did not just walk another route or we do not know anything from the builders perspective
all we have is her slightly hysterical account |

she should not but we all do things to avoid problems. Why should women not be able to walk around city centres at night?
if it bothers her and she can go a different way then fecking do it ffs I am sure people alter routes all the time to avoid chuggers? |

And why exactly have you decided it's a hysterical account?

Poppy Smart, 23, claims her walk to work is also being ruined as she is subjected to "disrespectful" comments, that she likened to racial discrimination.
It is very disrespectful and is comparable to calling out at someone of a different race or religion." 'He was probably 18 or 19 and got right in my face, standing next to an older man. He didn't touch me but they were in my personal space in the pavement, in my way, even though I literally blanked him. It is incredibly intimidating. I'm quite a nervous person and this has made my anxiety worse. 'The whistling went on for a month. I eventually contacted the building company and the police on the same day when it got so bad. I even considered changing my route to work but thought, 'Why should I do that?'
