Phil Edgar Jones (BB11) said that massive eviction was his worst ever production decision... I think they need to go down the ex HM route tbh

They need to keep things simple. There are too many twists.

Well lets see what they can do but if it doesnt work they need to put big brother to bed for a few years. but thats a good thing because CBB is growing & after 5 years people will miss ordinary BB & new viewers will want a civillian version
All in all Big Brother is still the best ordinary reality tv show & sometimes it just needs a big rest. If i was C5 when they bought the BB rights I would of only aired CBB & see what people think. I mean take a look at SCD. All celebs & people are wanting a civillian version. I have high hopes for the BB brand always.

That's what they should have done from the beginning.

I think thats why this series's has failed to be honest. Everybody got their hopes up about ex housemates. Now time has passed tom dick and harry dont really care.

Oh and another thing, Channel 5 if your reading you need to create a uservoice database for big brother.
Microsoft did it for when Xbox became a failing brand when the Xbox One was released to get actual decent feedback & the users can vote i.e priorities what they want & it has took the Xbox a great deal in terms of comparing its competition & what they do (PS4,Wii u) & for somebody whos been gaming for 10 years its exactly that what has pushed the Xbox Brand to beat Playstation some months (which you can relate & understand about lagging in competition) https://www.uservoice.com https://xbox.uservoice.com

If there's a mass eviction they need to do a Timebomb so it's vote to save.
I admire Ben pushing live feed. You can tell he's very passionate with his work on C5. I think if there are senior people worried about live feed at the least they should trial it for one or two weeks, if ratings improve keep it, if they don't remove it, simple. The matter of the fact though is that they've aired this series far too early and haven't bothered with advertising at all. If they did a big push with that prior to the series start we would be seeing far more overnight figures right now. Most people I've spoken to about Big Brother these past few weeks didn't even think it was back and thought it was on in June! C5 really need to push Big Brother advertising in future and not just leave the advertising push exclusive to CBB. Civilian Big Brother needs far more of a push in advertising for people other than hardcore fans to know its back. |

I think Ben Frow is being pushed against a rock and a hard place with regard to LF- he got it right in BB14 and when it moved online he said it worked- I honestly believe he was planning to work on that but Samwell Smith intervened :/

Regardless of how much I'm enjoying it, Gina going back in would be enough to make me abandon this series.

If everyone's up people like Chloe don't stand a chance of getting votes in vote to save, so hope that happens!

They need to advertise the show. They never do and then expect it to do well ?

Yes and i think people like Christian or Nick would be fine in a vote to save as well. But Chloe would go. She has no fanbase.

I think a mass eviction is required, and it wouldn't surprise me if it happens this week. Personal opinion I know, but the current crop of house mates just don't make the grade to have an engaging program that will keep me entertained for weeks.

Problem is I think the editing is pretty much spot on this series- it's just LF we need now

I really don't see the problem with putting an online feed up that we have to pay for. It worked really well for BB11.
Not here for a mass eviction. I'm liking this series so far. |

The only thing that worries me about if they do something big it will really dampen the series and again put people off next year.
If they do something it needs to be good and not appear too desperate. If they plan on giving people the boot it needs to be structured so the useless characters go out. If good ones go that the public love then they will have screwed themselves over yet again, some viewers still have a sour taste in their mouths over the Helen thing last year. |

I think vote to save is needed. Vote to evict always leaves the show with dullards and gets rid of the good housemates.

I do think it's interesting that perhaps the climb from 850k on Monday to 1m on Tuesday could be due to BB being promoted all day yesterday on Comedy Central? If it did have something to do with it, then maybe they should promo it everywhere now.
Also, BB last night was up against Geordie Shore's last episode and I really thought it would be lower than Monday's rating. So in theory, tonight should be higher than 1.00m with the apparent twist (not like people really care) and the shopping task. |
