Day 17 is closer to Day 14 than Day 21, so it's Week 2. If the eviction was on Day 18 then I'd say it was Week 3

"Weeks" in BB are usually determined by how many rounds of nominations there have been which lead up to culminating with the Friday eviction tbh

There are 7 days in a week and the first week had 4 days, which is closer to 7 than 11 is.

I'm glad you asked this question because it reminds me that I'm not the only person who gets bothered by trivialities like this.

I consider it Week 2 currently, and my "rule" has always been that the week ends with a Friday eviction. That's why I consider Simon and Adjoa to both be Week 1 boots, but for BB13 I consider Victoria a Week 1 boot and Chris a Week 2 boot. Definitely not a full-proof method, but that's always been my rule of thumb. Plus, Adjoa just FEELS like a Week 1 boot to me.

I just realised my mentality of "A Friday ends the week" is not always correct as BB11's first eviction was Day 10, which would have had to have been the second Friday but it's still classed as Week 1 (which fits with the way you look at it).

I guess it's because what I've been viewing as Week 1 did have an eviction (even if it was launch night), but if nothing happened in those first four days, I'd have probably classed the first round of noms as happening in Week 1.

As I said, it's random and not hugely important but it's just one of those things that gets in my head when BB's on.

Actually, that's pretty much how I see it too. It's all based on how many Friday eviction there have been IMO.
