Jon Snow Could Warg into His Direwolf I mean, it will seem like a bit of a cop-out next season if this ends up being the solution. Especially since they didn’t establish Ghost as being anywhere near Jon. Nor have we seen Jon warg in the show. But we have seen characters like Bran and Orell throw themselves into their animals, so this could be a temporary solution for Jon. In the books, the last word he says as he goes down is “Ghost,” which is why people generally buy the warg explanation. Kit Harington alluded to the warg theory during a panel event earlier this year. He told the audience, “I’d like to be a warg. I’d like to put myself inside a wolf.” (As you might imagine this got a lot of laughs.) Show creator D.B. Weiss then said, “Two words for you: Season 6.” It all seems like a joke, but maybe not. And even if they’re not joking, ”Jon Snow is a wolf now“ doesn’t sound like a permanent solution, does it? So what happens next?

Isn't he the one who goes to find Rickon? Maybe he'll meet up with Sansa and Theon if they head to the wall looking for Jon and maybe he'll help them look for Rickon when they tell him that him and Bran are still alive?

My theory is that Melisandre will raise Jon Snow from the dead and he, Davos and Melisandre will head for Winterfell - he won't stay at the wall because the Night's Watch betrayed him and also because he technically died so he'll have served them until death... no one mentioned anything about coming back to life. Perhaps he'll take on this Lady Stoneheart role in a composite characterisation thing - I haven't read as far as that in the books yet but I've read enough spoilers to get the gist.

That in mind, he would head for Winterfell to find Sansa and probably a rag tag bunch of Jon Snow, Davos, Melisandre, Sansa, Reek, Brienne and Pod will come together.

Not really sure where Arya's story is going and I felt bad for her going blind. Good on her for getting revenge on Meryn Trant though.

Cersei's walk of shame was epic - Lena Headey deserves an Emmy for that IMO.

Stannis must be dead. I know they didn't show it on screen so we're intentionally debating it until the next series but there's just no logic behind him being alive, his story has nowhere left to go unless it's that he's left alive by Brienne and he becomes humbled by his defeat and dedicates his life to fighting the White Walkers but I doubt that very much. I'd have thought that the White Walkers will be the ones to defeat the Boltons which ought to be a pretty cool scene.

I didn't actually consider the idea that Daenerys might have attracted the khalasar because of Drogon and they were there to pledge allegiance, I just assumed she was ****ed

Let us be clear that the main winners from this series are the Boltons. They have pulled off an absolute masterclass and Ramsay and a few of his lads have managed to decimate the whole army of the 'one true king' and now he's dead for good measure. A lot of credit is surely due.

This season has been the weakest imo, it's too slow paced with not much happening.

Episode 8 was great though.

I also wish that the show stopped using plot conveniences so much like they did in the last couple of episodes.

And Cersei's walk was too dragged out imo, that needed a couple of minutes cut so we could maybe squeeze a more exciting scene in instead of trying to get the critics to praise the visual effects, and the acting all of the time.

If Stannis is dead then Davos will be calling on Salladhor Saan and all the pirates and launching his own attack on King's Landing, he is the only one left worthy of the Throne

Yeah I could imagine it's harder to follow and realise the connections of people if you hadn't read the books. I have but my husband hasn't and I spent alot of time pausing the show and giving him a bit of history and connections of different characters for him. "Who's this guy now again?" was a common question throughout the episodes

There’s also speculation about whether Stannis is truly dead. We didn’t see Brienne deliver that final, fatal blow.

I think that was basically in the script. Dan and David felt it best not to be gratuitous with that. You really got a sense that Stannis had nothing else to live for. Brienne’s life-long mission had come to an end. It’s a situation in which Stannis was ready to die and prepared to die. It would have been gratuitous.
