I think that's unfair on Brian...he may have been in favour of Chloe being up but I don't suppose he wanted the reasons to be made in such a condescending way by Marc. It was brutal and although she is a bore it was unnecessary to say it the way Marc did. Chloe was obviously upset and Brian is just not the sort of person to want to see her put down in such a blunt way.
Brian wears his heart on his sleeve and to see her cry made him feel bad.

If you watch it back you would hear Marc say 'Let Chloe have her say' and that's when bellend Brian kicked off. Brian nominated Chloe but then had to be seen distancing himself from the process so he could retain his Mr Nice Guy image.
