Only housemate with any potential was Sarah and even she started to settle in and just go with the flow.

I love how manic it is in there now. I don't want to watch a bunch of people all getting on, I want what we have now.

Do you mean like the debate when Danny & Harriet had that big argument?

Then they made up the same day.

Or when the Amy lost it with another housemate and then they made up the same day?

I know feathers started to ruffle and we saw some potential with the housemates, but they kept all apologising to each other and in some cases they were saying just go with the arguments and we can make up after whatever task.

One of them even commented that BB won't beat them.

I don't remember Jade's feuds with the twins and Eileen being resolved in a day.

And there weren't arguments on a daily basis ... so? I enjoy drama in BB, but not just for the sake of it. People act like arguments is BB's sole purpose now.

Regardless, this "Everyone got along constantly / there was no drama" thing is a myth, IMO.

Don't get me wrong, I love the arguments, it's what gets my blood going. I want to be angry at Marc, I want to hate Helen, but I also enjoy the fun times too. I loved the task where teddy bears were making Eileen scream, I loved seeing Amy & Jade team together (after their bust up) in the time/clock task.

Yes there were potential with the original four weeks, yes there was arguments simmering between Jade & Eileen. I'm not completely writing off the first four weeks, I just think this year has been at its best since the 4 in 4 out.

I also believe the originals were making it harder for BB to create drama and that's fine to a point, but overall I want the drama more.

I do get what you mean, the drama has definitely increased since 4 In, 4 Out and I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it. I guess my gripe with the quad is the what ifs in terms of how it might have progressed had they left it to develop naturally.

I'm enjoying the show itself in terms of the dynamics etc, I think it's really entertaining atm. What I'm not liking is the increasingly-erratic twists, which to be fair is an issue of it's own rather than a by-product of the quadruple, I suppose I just feel nostalgic for the earlier weeks before the meddling went into overdrive.

Yes, I fully get where you're coming from and if the 4 in / 4 out didn't happen I feel it would have naturally got better in terms of drama and I was gutted when we lost Sarah, I also felt the twins had turned the heat up too.

But overall when I look back, the storm that Marc brought into the house, the way Simon turned on Eileen & then Chloe just took over in a 'WTF just happened' moment and since then it doesn't seem to have stopped.

I could still find issues with the show and how its run at the moment, but I would rather focus my energy on what I'm enjoying.

(That's not a slam at people who are more negative than me)
