I think everyone just needs to take a breather.

Cannot wait for this to end, it really is exhausting reading the same hate filled comments day in day out.

I agree, this has been one of the nastiest, hate-filled on seasons I've ever had the misfortune of being a part of on here. It's been pretty bad the last few years and has got progressively worse but I can honestly say I have been truly appalled at some of the comments made on this forum this series, and it takes a hell of a lot to offend me.

From the incessant slut shaming and misogyny, to the vitriolic insults about the housemates appearances. Pure bile and all of it unnecessary. It's pretty clear that some people take this television show way too seriously and forget that the people participating are regular human beings with feelings and families. If someone I knew went on this show and received some of the abuse I've witnessed this time around, there would be hell to pay.

On season is usually my favourite but part of me honestly can't wait for it to be over.

I would say that's debatable given that you appear to be quite easily offended.

Considering you joined twenty days ago, I'd say you know nothing about me. I would vouch that most people on this forum who have been here a while know that I most certainly am not easily offended, and am often justifying and defending jokes/incidents etc that are perceived as offensive but aren't.

It takes something truly awful to be able to shock me.

Just going by what I've seen in my short spell you do seem to be constantly complaining about sexism or namecalling or slut shaming.

It's part of life. I don't think it's any worse on here than in any other corner of the internet. Maybe it's because of some of the horrible specimens we're exposed to when the likes of Nikki Graheme pops their ugly head in the house.

Is Nikki really worse than Helen? Really?

And no one deserves the amount of slut shaming that Nikki and Aisleyne have been given in the past few weeks, Helen has got barely any despite what her stans say

You are joking?

Helen is absolutely ripped to shreds on here.

For me, yes, Nikki is worse than Helen. If I were to meet both in real life I'd take being stuck in a lift with Helen over Nikki any day. A pompous little brat.

Helen might be a bitch but she'll tell you straight out she's a bitch. That other hobgoblin is a different story altogether.

Have you been living in cloud cuckooland for the past two weeks? Helen's had everything but the kitchen sink thrown at her. Ailseyne and Nikki have had NOTHING in comparison. N.O.T.H.I.N.G.

...which is the point I made in my post, that this on season has honestly appalled me and that takes a lot.

It might be part of your life but it certainly isn't a part of mine. I don't ever call anyone, on a TV show or not, 'sluts', 'slags', 'slappers' because for a start the definitions behind those words is something that isn't an issue and secondly because they're usually directed at women which is just misogynistic. And I don't ever insult people's appearances because there's no justification for it and it is just nasty. A joke is a joke, but when people are doing it in a genuinely insulting manner it just makes the place horrible to browse.

It's just a TV show. But every year it seems to get worse, women are called 'slags' for expressing that they're interested in a male housemate, or flirting with several (when they're single and perfectly entitled to do so), people on all sides argue the toss over who is and isn't a '*****', a 'prostitute' (as if there's anything wrong with being a prostitute in the first place), housemates are insulted in the most venomous ways for the way they look when it isn't even relevant to what they're like as a housemate. The list goes on. It's draining, miserable and as much as this word is overused - vile.

Calling someone ugly is vile.

I'm so sick of the same level of hate that is always targeted towards certain housemates who have done nothing wrong but disagree/argue with a fave.

I didn't think anything could match the awful final week of BB15 on here but this year has definitely topped it.

At least the BBUSA section is a lot friendlier and enjoyable (These 3 episodes of BBUSA are much more exciting than this series will ever be)

Indeed, and if people actually paid attention to my posts and read between the lines they'd have noticed I criticised this also.

It's all so pathetic, arguing the toss between who insults who more, and 'he said this, she did that'. How about everyone just stops? Again, there is no justification for calling Helen a prostitute, a slut, insulting her lips, just as there is no justification for calling Aisleyne a 'slapper', saying she looks ugly, or insulting Nikki's looks, the list goes on. All of it is pure bile. All of it.

Criticising housemates characters and the way they act in the house is fine, but when people start insulting them for the way they look which isn't even relevant to how they are as a housemate, or slut shaming women by calling them 'slags' (which is a totally pointless insult), or digging up dirt on their life on the outside which also isn't relevant to their time in the house, it goes way too far and turns this place into the hate-filled, nasty forum it has been this time around.

And this 'well if they're gonna do this then I'm going to do it as well' is so, so childish. By sinking to other people's levels you are no better than them.
