I dont believe in fad diets. A healthy balanced diet is key!
Cut down on your carb (e.g. pasta, rice, white bread) and sugar (e.g. drinks, chocolate, sweets) intake and overall portions. Dont skip breakfast and only have healthy snacks like fruit/light crackers/handful of nuts etc. Drink plenty of water and avoid fizzy drinks. Maximise on protein and salad/veg! A good tip is to not have the "bad foods" in the house, or at least not too much. Also avoid takeaways, maybe have a treat day so you dont crave. If you have fish and chips, dont get it battered, if you have kebabs get shish meat instead of donner and avoid the naan/pitta bread etc. Diet acquaints for around 70% of a healthy lifestyle - so try and include a little exercise. It recently got brought to my attention that more muscle = more calories burned so I recommend building a little muscle if possible. The focus is to be in a deficit of the recommended daily calories... Do an online test because weight, height, gender and age or play a role on what this may be. You will lose weight and feel healthier! Edit: Another tip is to have a high rich protein snack between lunch and tea around 3-4pm... boosts metabolism and keeps hunger at bay e.g. nuts, boiled eggs, protein shake or bar
