well that is nice to hear, but i don't think most brits ever say that to americans i don't think they ever say that they appreciate some of the things we do.

Its easy to fall for the stereotypes like the classic "americans dont get irony" when they make seinfeld, mash, curb, office usa, taxi etc

at least you are not french *shudder* or an australian *double shudder*

well australians also have their own special charm. i caN't defend the french (though maybe i could if i was on a train)

but thanks for saying you appreciate some aspects of american culture. i appreciate it.

Like most I grew up with american culture through tv and comics like spiderman, mad, cracked etc
