Some man opened fire on a park near us once. It was scary because I planned to go there the next day, obviously decided against that for safety.

I cant think of a bad crime in the last 15 years or so

Somebody got beheaded a couple of years ago. Few other murders as well. Somebody got burned alive on a field.

Oh and ofc the new Harold Shipman who got caught this year.

I've been debating about whether or not to post this one. I not only think it is possibly the worst crime ever to have happened in my town, I think it's one of the worst I have ever heard of. But it's important no-one forgets Mary Ann.

My friends boyfriend got hacked to death with an axe when he was 19. The killer was never caught. That's probably not the worst, but it sticks out atm.

For a low crime area we have had a few shockers,
Policeman murdered his wife a few years ago.
A young lad that my son knocked about with in his teens attempted to murder his girlfriend, he would have succeeded had she not been so fit, he managed to pin her to the floor with a knife, after stabbing her in most of her organs..he actually lived in our little Close of 7 houses.
