I seriously doubt he thought it was acceptable otherwise we wouldnt be hearing about it now is it not much more likey he was bloody livid about her arrogance and ignorance but paid it so as not to disappoint a child that was excited to get a picture with someone she likes on tv.
He is getting the last laugh by exposing the extent of her greed and selfishness in the press and on national tv.
