Because as we all know, the best way to stop fascism is to ignore it and make excuses for it until it's taken hold and
then try to tackle it. The point is to stop these toxic ideologies from gaining any meaningful platform
in the first place.
Oh and also, AGAIN, who gives a flying **** if it's "like that in Egypt" or "Worse than that in Egypt". This seems to be a worryingly common theme these days. Insisting that something is good or acceptable on the grounds that something else is worse
