Those people aren't running the risk of affecting my enjoyment of a season though, but of course that's disgusting and my comment was just a turn of phrase and not meant to be taken literally. A lot of people who use edgic do think it's usually accurate though and it clearly was here so really, it is kind of a spoiler? And I just don't want to see it. Like, live and let live and if that's how people wish to view the show that's their prerogative (even though that and actual spoilers I find so baffling and show-ruining), but it doesn't mean I want to see it, especially if it turns out to be correct. I make a point of avoiding spoilers themselves so this really should be the same thing, but I can't because it's everywhere, even in regular discussion threads. It's not very fair on those who just wish to watch the season and enjoy the journey.

What other 'specific' fans are there then? You've just contradicted yourself because in your last post you said that 'edgic stans' are part of the community
every season. There are no such thing as generalised fans or specific fans, and I don't think that's a fair way to justify what you said.
Edgic is only ever other people's perception based on editing, so to say that it's a spoiler is a little bit silly. Forums have always been far more analytical than casual fans, and what you describe is what a casual viewer is. Maybe it would be best to watch it without interacting with other people on here. I know that comes across really rude, but like other people have said; it's not our fault the editing has become so predictable. People want to discuss it just as much as anyone else, but the fact of the matter is that it's an opinion based on logic.
