I think it's maybe a story decision rather than the network axing it. Which I'd be happy about because means they aren't trying to drag any story out.

I would always rather a show end with the storyline rather then become a mess trying to drag it out

The writers always said they wanted to do 5 seasons to tell the story in full, I'm glad they've been given the chance too tbh, ratings for this season haven't been that great

I'm glad they're going into the season with the knowledge that it will be the final run so they can end the story properly, far too many shows end abruptly without resolution nowadays.

I was surprised that was the first time Krystal and Sarah have met though, for some reason I assumed they already had

Really intrigued by this P.T. Westmoreland stuff (and it makes sense for the final season to feature the founder of Neolution himself).

Duko being the one who shot Delphine was a boring reveal though.

Just caught up with this. The season was a slow burner but I'm really liking it, and I can't believe there's only three episodes left. This episode just gone was by far my favourite of the season, and possibly one of my favourites all together.

Spoiler:

Glad to see Mark and the girl (I've forgotten her name) back again, intrigued to see what happens with Helena.

Also as predictable as the ending was, it was probably one of the most shocking scenes (in a good way) of the show thus far.

3 episodes into season 5 atm, really enjoying it so far.
Spoiler:

Even though I knew about it ahead of time, MK's death was so hard to watch

Seeing Alison and Rachel on screen together was surreal considering they've both been around since season one without ever meeting, glad they gave them a scene before the show ended

I've been wondering why that Neolution detective looks so familiar, she's Genevieve from The Originals
