I didn't like him much (he can be pretty annoying) or rate him until tonight. I thought you would too going by what you always said you admired in a HM. You say 'he's too old to pull it off' - I didn't realise you had an age limit as to who could be eligible for being a winder - upper.
Maybe you just don't like that he came out better and smarter tonight than the 'squad'. That he didn't let Lewis make him lose it over the alcohol and instead turned it around and made Lewis lose it (and Marnie too). And Bear became small and insignificant like he did when faced with the big security guard and said little. If you were being true to your previous statements of what you like in HM's, then you would admire Heavy for his show tonight, whether you actually like him or not shouldn't come into it.
