I totally get your points Macie and for the most part completely agree with them.

I'd love to see a great female BB US winner but, for me at least, Nicole doesn't fit that description!
Like you said, it's obvious that Nicole is this year's Production Pet and they're definitely helping her so that they end up with their sickly sweet winner, beloved by casual BB viewers across the US.
Considering some of the fantastic Female Houseguests that played really smart games and also entertained us while doing so only to get **** on by the 'bro alliances' and production teams ensuring they stood no chance of winning i can't help but be infuriated that they think that Nicole is the sort of example to other women considering going on BB of what you need to do and be like to stand a chance of winning BB US these days.

Why does the show keep insisting that the Hitmen were a thing? They got a random segment showing their alliance get named (and it was really just treated as another parachute option for Derrick), and then it wasn't referenced again until Cody evicted Caleb at F4.

Nicole was **** on BB16 too so the comparisons are pointless tbh, it's just any semblance of endearment she may have had then evaporated this time around

yeah, I liked Nicole a decent amount in BB16 but it was just out of convenience bc she somehow was the biggest opposition to the godawful majority alliance. It's not like her mask slipped or her true colors are showing or [insert your DigitalSpy cliche of choice] because the signs were really all there even back then.

This is so insulting that they're pretending that Victor's getting evicted because of His Piss Poor Attitude when it was decided, like, within minutes of Corey becoming Head of Household. I get that they have three hours of footage to air and they think everything needs to be suspenseful, but sometimes it's just better to tell it how it is? The episode where McCranda got nominated in BB15 was one of the best ones of the season and it was just an hour of people ****ting on them.

I think this whole interview was like 50% of Derrick trying to protect Cody from looking like a complete moron (I don't even want to begin to give Derrick any sort of credit, but that must be exhausting) and 50% of Derrick still being of the mindset where he has to lie to the cameras and to the DR and to interviewers and just spew nonstop BS.

Yeah, his 'I would've taken Cody cause our bond was so strong so I understand why he did it too' is all well and good except Derrick was always going to beat either Cody or Victoria, whereas Cody was only ever going to beat Victoria

I wish the show would stop bending over backwards to defend a whiny dullard and attempt to justify one of, if not the dumbest move ever made
