Why do they even bother moving it if it's loses its entire DNA. Wrong decision for Love - not a good deal for long term.

This Witch doesn't burn

I think they thought the money would motivate all to move, bad call at 81 Mary doesn't need the money, Mel and Sue obviously don't want to downgrade from a cushy number to a situation where they have to dance to a sponsors tune,. Hollywood is the only one who will move for the cash, though even that is doubtful now as he may not want to be associated with a huge drop in ratings, not sure his ego would stand it.

oh fack off

So Channel 4 paid £75m for a tent and Paul Hollywood?
![]() Meanwhile Love Productions have sold their biggest format down the river, tarnished their name and ensured that top BBC execs are right this minute sat in an office drafting ideas for a new show that Mary, Mel and Sue will front and which will - quote me on this - be scheduled against Bake Off and rate higher |

Too glam to give a damn

It would've been quite amusing to see something develop on BBC with the four of them. I do think the three that have stayed loyal to the BBC are the best parts of GBBO though. Paul won't save the show by himself, like say, Mel and Sue may have. However, I don't think a brand new show will transpire. It would be quite tacky to do so (imo), and I hope the three women agree.

French and Saunders are reportedly being lined up to replace Mel & Sue, with Delia Smith also rumoured to be replacing Mary Berry:

Jennifer hosted an episode of Sport Relief Bake Off and won the previous Comic Relief Bake Off so I think it's probably quite likely

I don't know if this is a tweet to throw us off the scent, but I have no idea why they would want to turn their backs on the BBC. It doesn't seem realistic at all. |
