Throughout history - from 'Woolworth's' heiress Barbara Hutton, through legend Doris Day, to a lot of the bands and pop stars of the 70's onwards - rich 'celebrities' have been ripped off by trusted people within their inner sanctums. Some of these victims were highly intelligent and very savvy but they were robbed and cheated anyway.
I'm not suggesting that Kim Kardashian was 'in' on any robbery - if, indeed, one did really occur - but it is not without historical precedence that one or more of her trusted aides set it all up.
