It was all really great on paper but.......... Takali (bc this show forgot that tribe names do exist) as a tribe is kinda flat and lifeless so it didn't really pop at all besides with Lucy? Imagine if this happened with Vanua (aka "The Millennials" )

I think that was one of the most obvious boots in recent Survivor

Lucy shall be missed. I've officially gone off Ken, he showed himself up this episode (in my opinion) and proved that he's just a generic arrogant douche. Of all Millennials to get the idol, Adam was one of the people I did not want to have it.

edit: Forgot to add, I loved Hannah just randomly appearing and being like "Hey Adam, how's your idol search going? " lmfao

Idk how to feel about that ep? On paper it seems entertaining but the Gen X tribe are flat so it didn't feel that epic to me (everyone was very monotone apart from Lucy), as Macie said I think if the same thing happened on the Millennial tribe it would've been a lot better/more exciting

Lucy's edit I'm sad she's gone but her story arc is perfect so I can live with it, plus I find it hilarious she actually did control the vote and she needed to be idoled out I still really like Ken and I don't really blame him for not wanting to take orders from Lucy

Oh Ken Officially my fave after refusing to take Lucy's orders and essentially being the reason she was eliminated (despite voting to evict Jessica ).

Adam's scene was really emotional Happy he found the idol though.

So I'm not too sure about the result. Jessica is an idiot, Ken isn't that sensible. David may have sunk himself sadly.

I'd rather the Millennials had gone to tribal to stir up their tribe anyway, as they aren't as interesting. Gen-X are creating the storylines.

Well it clearly said something about Jessica's loyalty if she went and instantly ratted him out to Lucy. He was voting for the 'safe' option (which it was), it was only ruined because of David playing his idol.

Millennials are without a doubt the complex tribe though? IDK what show you're watching as Gen X as a whole is lifeless and boring.

I liked this episode

Michaela had me in stitches after the comp with her tatas confessional.... and I wanted David to play the idol. Idols always go back into play directly after being used.... it's not like there is one a season anymore... so why not use it to flip the numbers when on the bottom. I liked the move.... it was entertaining and gives him a greater chance with the numbers. I say, why not

That would be the case if there's not a tribe swap next episode but there is which means he could depart from most of the people who he is working with, which means he won't have the numbers anymore and that idol could have saved himself.

It doesn't necessarily mean anything though even if there wasn't a tribe swap as if the target shifted to him then I have no doubts Jessica would just vote him out and go with the majority. She was quick enough to turn on Paul so why not?

The bottom line is: it's dumb to use your idol on anyone but yourself in the long-run.

Saved him for a week....maybe... but he earned one more persons allegiance going forward...and that vote to save could also be the reason he stays in the future. Survivor changes happen every episode now.... they could throw in a swap every episode going forward.... who even knows with this series anymore. I liked the move still...because he is playing the game as it is now... without trying to predict future outcomes that are unpredictable

Oh yeah another reason why it wasn't a good move, Jessica seems like someone who turns on people straight away like she did with Paul. I agree with the bottom line, if you only have one that is.
