Well it wouldn't have been realistically possible to lose all that weight in the amount of time she did if she hadn't had a gastric band. The important thing is maintaining it and now she's exercising constantly and keeping herself in shape.

I'm not defending her but once people get to a certain size it becomes almost impossible and seems like it's going to take forever - so yes she opted for the easy way but she could have easily fallen back into her old ways but she hasn't, so she deserves some credit.

that is wrong tbh my mum was like 30st and got type 2 diabetes and lost a lot of weight and now weighs about 16 all without surgery so you can do t if you really want to
