In all seriousness, I think Dezzy is actually one of the best mods, he does his job well and from what I've seen has always been as fair as possible and just because he has strong opinions and voices them it doesn't lessen his mod status.

I think that is what is being said here though Dezzy gives aggressive tone and gets aggressive tone. I liked some of the suggestions Maru gave to curb this

Needs to be a give and take really. Modding could use some improvement, but in return certain members need to really be brought down a notch rather than some using the board as a sounding board of vitriol that happens too frequently on here... it's the lowest level discussion possible.

..maybe we should be more asking why people don't post in SD so much, don't get any enjoyment out of it, can't be bothered with threads they would like to join but just feel it's not worth it, that life is too short and the day would be too long to even try...I doubt the name 'Dezzy' would even be mentioned at all other than from the few who don't like that they can't have things their way all of the time/say whatever they want to, to whoever they feel like and troll as much as they want to ...strangely their names might be mentioned quite a few times though...

I think (speaking personally, at least) it's because the same topics are recycled over and over again and it never really goes anywhere or is interesting. In all honesty I can't be bothered reading long posts about some of the topics discussed, either because I have little interest or because it's basically just opinions disagreeing with each other. I don't think members (or mods) are the main source of why a lot of people don't post in there.
