It was a betrayal of trust and awful behaviour. She was forcing fatherhood on him and if the relationship hadn't worked he'd have been responsible emotionally and financially for at least 18 years. He had the right to have a say.

Didn't he have that say when he chose not to protect himself but to rely on a new girlfriend of a few months to be responsible, when he was a well-known footballer with quite a bit of money - when does a bit of common sense come into play.

He was a fool and like a lot of men he was happy to leave that up to her, but that was pretty stupid when they had only been together a few months especially when he was rich and famous. Tbh if that is not asking for it I don't know what is.

She was wrong to do that but he made it easy for her because he didn't use his brain.
