Your second paragraph is basically a repeat of what you said before and it doesn't make that point any less ridiculous. It is basically the equivalent of saying 'I know you are but what am I?'
Calling someone a bigot isn't an act of bigotry in itself, it's just a very transparent attempt to demonise a word to protect people from dealing with the fact that all opinions come with consequences. It's basically what I've said before in other, that most people only want freedom of speech as long as it benefits THEM and not anyone else of a differing opinion.
If someone is displaying racist views or attitudes then it's well within another person's right to call them out on it because THEY have a right to their opinion too.
