Basically it came out that his mother was seriously ill and it was just so emotional..he hadn't mentioned it at all throughout his time in the house so it was kind of a shock

Blocked for me too, I didn't watch BB7 so that's why I don't remember it. Well, that i can perfectly understand though if someone close to you is ill. I would probably miss Gav alot actually thinking about it, I've probably spent more time away from my kids over the years than him
