When I was working, it was such a hassle taking a train and then a bus every morning. I swore I'd get a car. Then I had enough money saved, picked out a few cars I liked, asked everyone I knew to come with me to collect it. Otherwise how would I bring it home and I needed someone with me who knew the first thing about cars. No one would come with me so I still don't have a car and it really affects me getting a job.

Far better with a big throbbing beast between your legs.
or a scooter, like me. |

I'd like to drive but I'd only really use a car for getting to and from work so it seems an unnecessary expense.

When everyone's drinking you're the driver. That's one downside of it.

Some places even drive the car to your home if you have any trouble going to pick it up. Last edited by Marsh.; 02-03-2017 at 04:05 PM. |

She probably wanted to someone to look it over for her, especially if you're buying privately

Yes, I would advise taking experts with you, I had to replace the clutch and the windscreen within the first two months on my car. Last edited by Marsh.; 02-03-2017 at 04:10 PM. |

Then I checked out the garage (should have done that before i bought the car d'uh) similar stories all over the place. A relative of mine is a police officer and he checked them up and apparently the garage is a drug front and the owners and workers there all have serious records. Anyway, long story short i never saw the car again but I eventually got my money back after a couple of years and a decent solicitor

Nah, they were already well known to the Police. You know how it is, their hands are tied on alot of stuff. he did come in handy for some other stuff (which i can't really go in to) though. It was miracle we even got the money back tbh

I don't have a licence. Well, I have an expired provisional. I took lessons and all but I realized I really needed a car of my own to learn in and then get a full licence.
