Comparing a democratic and generally free country potentially getting a totalitarian leader to the latest despot ruler of a dictatorship run country is a bad comparison. It's more worrying that our neighbours and allies are becoming extremist than the fact that some African countries that we aren't allied with and can't do anything about are ruled by a dictatorship.
