It came across in a way which made it seem that him/ suki/ and the sisters where they only diversity in the house, and everyone else was basicly white Anglo. Which is certainly an odd way to look at things.
I don't think it was meant to imply anything or to be "racist" as such.

indeed, in many ways just lumping all the "white folks" in one group and ignoring the diversity

I'm mixed race and I'm not a fan of being called brown so people that think it's acceptable should maybe watch who they say that around! Some people might accept it and that's fine but I'm not a fan.

Imran and Sukhvinder have played the race card a few times now. Sometimes more subtly than other times but she especially has messed up views of different races! What he said on this occasion was not okay though in my opinion.

Racism?! I'm not sure but definitely not okay.

I'll be honest, I think he was referring to the fact that they are literally 2 black sisters..

I dont know how I feel about him bringing up race at all, seems unnecessary.. but I dont think he meant sisters in the way that most have interpreted it. They literally share a mother and a father with one another
