i don't think they do, its just realisation that who we as individuals support doesn't have to match what everyone else thinks come voting time.

i don't think they do, that's the point. People are not abandoned, their level of support was just vastly over estimated.

Bookies favourites only reflect betting, and that has no relationship to who people want to win, only who they think will give them a return on their money. There is a big difference.

Definitely so with certain people but the four I mentioned were definitely loved by the public before they faced backlash for being no different than they'd been all series in the week before the final - therefore ruining their chance of winning.
