I was expecting a Ru song or emotional song for the final one not a remix of a late 90s song by an artist that had just been done

Would you be able to spoiler some of the queens who have gaps in their schedule?

Trixie, Chi Chi, Valentina and Derrick all have big gaps in July and/or August (plus Adore and Willam, but I somehow can't see either of them coming back any time soon)... I'm sure there are several others, but those are the ones I was able to find for now

I think it might just be coincidence tbh, I reckon they'll stick to the 4 year break to prevent overkill

a) VH1/WoW will want to pimp the hell out of anything Drag Race related following its Emmy win and general increasing popularity, so a move to an every-two-years All Stars cycle looks very likely at the moment
b) I don't think Drag Race has that long left anyway? Ru will probably get bored of it within the next four or five years, even if it does bring in the doolah

As with most live taping crownings, Ru crowns all the finalists (in this case just the final two lip sync participants) so that there is true suspense when the program is broadcast weeks later. Ru first crowned Peppermint who gave a wonderful acceptance speech and got a lot of love from the audience. After the crowning all the season 9 queens came on stage from behind and went up to congratulate her. And, as with any Drag Race episode, Ru then ends the show with a “If you cant love yourself, how the hell you gonna love anybody else? Can I get an Amen?” When this occurred Valentina came on stage with her fellow contestants and went to the far side away from center stage. When Sasha Velour was crowned it was a much different story. The second the queens came on stage Valentina did a B-line to position herself right in the middle of Ru and last year’s winner, Bob the Drag Queen which put her in the middle of the shot overall near Sasha. It was at first subtle, obvious and ingenious all at once. That Valentina knows what she’s doing.

Maybe season 10 could be half new queens half queens who need a redemption who didn't get half way or something
