I'm not sure if I care too much. I think wooden blocks are better for greasy food perhaps cos they soak up the grease.. put greasy food on a round plate, and the foods gonna get soggy after ten mins. I'm sure there's other half-arsed logic behind other gimmicky-looking plate-alternatives too

But they usually put the greasy food on grease-proof paper on top of the blocks . It's a conspiracy.
