It is a homophobic slur but she isn't homophobic herself. It's ignorance because she isn't calling it a gay person in a hateful way or has an issue with gays.

I didn't watch CBB but from what I've heard about her she sounds pretty messed up? And she strikes me as the kind of person who'd say something like that while drunk/without thinking, so as vile as she might be for it (or in need of help I don't know?) it doesn't necessarily make her homophobic. It's how she thinks about and treats gay people that would define that, not the words she uses imo.

that's how it should be interpreted but it never is if its a housemate that's disliked
