Jan Steen 1688. Dutch artist. Man in oil playing bagpipes. On show at Rijksmuseum
Amsterdam. at the upper right side we can read the Dutch proverb "Zou de ouden zongen, pijpen de jongen."

ironically it means "the young people learn from the elderly"
