While it's important to tell women (and in some cases, men) to stand up for themselves we must put more emphasis on trying to tackle the source of it, the people committing these acts that have no respect for the genders they are attracted to.

Yeah, agree with that, alongside women standing up for themselves when they are able. And men also, who find themselves in these circumstances. Also though, I think co-workers need to be vigilant if we're going to stamp this out. Not speaking out is the same as accepting that kind of behaviour is acceptable, and it's not.
