I've bought a couple of pairs by Betron on Amazon that were around £10-15 a set... only bought another one because I thought I'd lost the others. Decent sound quality, look nice and come with a bunch of replacement buds.
![]() First pair I got was about a year ago and they're still working fine. Skullcandy I find are the worst ones I've tried.

I'd just quite like a pair that actually stay in my ears when I'm walking
I had a great pair a few months ago, but I lost them at Call Me By Your Name and I can't remember what brand they were /sob |

cannot recommend any - cheap in ear headphones break just as much as expensive ones so do yourself a favor buy the £2-5 in ear headphones and not the £50+ ones - at least then you won't kick yourself when £2-5 pair break

For something as important as earphones you have to pay money

In ear headphones break because of how they're used and move, and paying more won't help, they'll still break. The wiring inside will eventually degrade, and it's pretty random; an expensive pair can break in a few months... a cheap pair can least a year, break, be replaced with exactly the same kind and then break again 3 weeks later. I would disagree on buying the cheap < £5 generic ones though as the sound quality is horrendous... but I personally would stick to the £9.99 - £15 range. Much more expensive and it starts getting expensive to keep replacing. Peronally I bought 5 pairs of £12 skullcandy from Tesco at one point when they were all £5 reduced to clear... they look and feel like the flimsiest, cheapest earphones I've ever had but the sound quality is randomly brilliant . Nice and bassy, mid ranges clear, and they don't screech / whistle / hiss on the high ranges (very important to me as I hear high frequency noise easily so a lot of cheap earphones hiss constantly).NOW the important part though: Only use your in-ear ones out and about and they will last much longer. Consider them the portable / disposable alternative... and for use in the house, invest in a decent (£100+) set of full headphones. I'd recommend going to a decent audio store and testing some out to figure out what sounds best for you (then buying online because it's cheaper ). They don't break anywhere near as easily, and you can't get the same sound quality with in-ear.

cheap earphones sound cheap, dont get loud and can damage your ears (good earphones are properly damped)
you get what you pay for. if you dont like music or listen to rubbish then yes get sh1t earphones |
