He said that Ann's comments were coming from a "different place", I think that's what people are talking about. I'm not sure if he meant racist or not but Ashley disagreed with him and said no that's not where it was coming from.
In fairness to Ashley, I hate a showmance but I haven't heard her bitching very much about other people.
