He's just misunderstood. He's decent with a bit of a temper. And he probably does go through a ton himself with his profession.

I'm of the belief that if he acted the way he did in a little girl's body then there would not be much of an issue there. He just subconsciously comes across more aggressive and threatening.

Kayleigh was waaaaay more aggressive whenever she started yelling (a lot more often than Lotan too in a shorter time) and I'd say Lotan gets way more hate.

Chanelle, although not a "little girl," was also constantly loud, aggressive, yelling AT people, had warnings for all of these things so it's pretty objective she was nasty in ways, but she was mainly loved.
(Although I get if people found her more entertaining and had more of a liking for her than Lotan because of that - but if we're basing their characters they're not far off) (and I found Chanelle annoying regardless of her aggression but that's besides the point )

I thought Lotan was mostly boring and had some ego and anger problems that wasn't the most fun thing to watch but vile? Not really

He was at his worst when Issy brought up his son but that was something personal that she shouldn't have brought up in the first place. Most would get pretty mad at something like that about them/their child especially if someone they've had arguments with is saying that passive aggressively.
