I've only seen a handful of seasons of Big Brother USA but I knew I wanted to get around to catching up, so I thought I'd start with a more recent one before going back to some of the older (and probably better) seasons.
For the most part I enjoyed it. It was consistently entertaining and interesting to watch, especially with the house dynamics chopping and changing week after week. The boot order did let the season down quite majorly though; a lot of the bigger and more intruging (as well as likable) characters left early on such as Da'Vonne, Audrey (my two definitive favourites), Jackie and Jason. As always with me I usually root for the 'underdogs', so I was really hoping the James and Meg duo would make it farther than they did. The fact that I wasn't so keen on either Steve & Liz just made the finale fairly dull and forgettable.
I think what annoyed me the most about this season (other than the boot order and the cringiness) was that it was essentially dominated by one group. Apart from Shelli and Clay leaving mid-season, there weren't many power switches from one side of the house to the other, and it did start to get tedious how nobody I liked could pull off a competition win. Was a Da'Vonne HOH week too much to ask?
Overall though, I enjoyed this season.

17 is quite a popular season and I enjoyed it as well.
