I started Blood vs Water ealier, I decided to pick this one because I love SJDS which sues the same idea without returning players. I really don't like the Redemption Island twist tbh, I'd rather have The Outcasts twist if people are going to return. Saying that the first three episodes haven't been bad but there's no stand out characters yet.

Initial favourites of mine are Candice and Laura Boneham. Ew @ Colton quitting cos he couldn't drip poison, but good riddance I guess. I hope Candice returns from RI, I loved her in HvsV and she seems great in this too.

I enjoyed Redemption Island in BvsW, it gave us some great moments like

Blood v Water is one of my favourite recent seasons. I found the cast really likeable.

Blood vs Water is a theme that really worked, It proves Survivor can reinvent itself/find twists that will actually work

eh, I think Blood vs. Water just provides pre-packaged storylines for producers to shove down our throats more than anything. "Ciera was a teen mom!" "Missy was divorced three times!" "Aras and Vytas have a troubled relationship" like we get it.

I gave up on BvsW cos I kinda wanted a break from the show and the season was DIRE from what I'd seen.

I'm on MilvsGenX now and I've watched the first four episodes. I know it's not popular on here but I am quite liking at the moment I must say. Ken is BY FAR my favourite I adore him in every single way, Michaela/CeCe/Hannah are three other faves too Paul's blindside and David using the idol on Jessica at tribal were both BRILLIANT to watch, I'm just hoping I like this season by the end as much as I do. However, having seen the general opinion on her I'm not so sure

If you're liking it now you'll be fine. One of the biggest criticisms from the people who hate this season is that they think the pre-merge was absolutely terrible.

Oh I hope I do enjoy it then, the only part I'm finding kind of annoying is all the confessionals Adam is getting.

yeah Adam is not evil or anything BUT he is extremely boring, provides no humor, doesn't articulate things in an interesting way, does not have a unique point of view, and more or less drags the show down. I feel bad for him on a human level but he's not enjoyable at all.

Totally disagree, he's one of the few I actually found really engaging and interesting to listen to (aside from Ken, David, Michelle and Jay).

See I loved the pre-merge and IIRC it was the first two episodes of the merge that I was wary of, but it soon picked up again

MvsGX is one of my favourite seasons I've watched live, probably below Cagayan and slightly above Koah Rong because I preferred the winner. I can understand the criticism and on a certain level think it's justified, but I enjoyed this season for much the same reasons as have been said already; I disliked very few people, loved many, enjoyed the tribals, etc etc.

Michaela going she was my favourite by the time she was blindsided. Her last moments in tribal was soooooo tense I LOVED it, still enjoying the seasons surprisingly. Michelle and Hannah are probably my favourites now Michaela has gone.

The last tribal was AMAZING. Taylor vs Adam and Hannah hyperventaliting are two of the best tribal moments I've seen.

Yeah, out of all the seasons I've watched MvGx has definitely had the most entertaining TCs. Nearly all of them were either unpredictable or had a drama element to them.

The rock draw was shocking but the build up kind of sucked as a storyline tbh. The David vs. Zeke story came out of nowhere and we didn't really get any proper explanation as to why everyone was willing to put their own games on the line for Zeke and Hannah. It was definitely a shocking moment, especially since the previews didn't hint at it at all, but in the greater scheme of Survivor lore it doesn't really resonate much with me. I'll take Sandra burning Russell's hat over that rock draw any day.

Millennials vs Gen X is finished. I must say I actually enjoyed the season, it wasn't like the greatest I've seen but I was going in expecting much worse. The season did focus a bit too much on game play and the cast wasn't the greatest ever but it was entertaining throughout. I ended up liking Adam in the end and I'm glad he won for his mum, Hannah did deserve at least a few votes though.
