I mean I guess it was leaning too much towards Adam siding with Figtails that I should've expected it to actually go the other way. It just doesn't make too much sense for Adam though.

This is like the 3rd boot I've been legitimately shocked about this season.

Not to be one of Those People, but five of the first six boots being women of color is morbidly comical at this point.

And I know I said the preview for this week looked bad (and it actually ended up not being terrible despite the bad result), next week's looks ATROCIOUS. I don't think this is the worst season in the world, but it's got that One World lifelessness to it where things are happening but it's just really boring and nobody's worth caring about. If next episode is how it looks where the entire focus is on Adam reacting to his own vote and this new David/Zeke thing, **** that I'm out.

It also doesn't help that every boot has been telegraphed ridiculously early within the episode, but the editing is really what's doing this in. Who is Bret? Who is Sunday? Who is Will? Who is Chris besides a college football player? Who is Zeke other than some Oklahoma Sooner fanboy? Who is Jessica other than the holder of the Legacy Advantage? Who is Jay other than the two-second backstory we got on him today? That's half the cast right there that I feel like I know nothing about. Even the ones I didn't name, like Adam is "kid with sick mom" and Michelle is "girl who prays" and even Hannah is really just "spastic girl." I don't feel like I know anyone.

Really? This was the most obvious boot so far for me.

I don't think it was a bad move for Adam in the long-run as he was always gonna be second (or fourth after Michelle and Jay) best in the Millennials alliance anyway. A #Kadam alliance moving on would be perfect.

I just think he would've been in a pretty good position in the majority with the Millennials and then they could've turned on the showmance / inner circle of that group later (with the outsider Millennials & a few Gen X). But at the same time, it's true that he's not high on the Millennials hierarchy so eh it could go either way. Maybe he could get Zeke & Hannah to flip over with him (the downside is if they flip and Gen X start running the game with enough numbers, Adam's then in the minority anyway).

And to think that two years ago, Jonclyn, Muffler, and Keef emerged victorious from battling the Wentworths and laid the stage for SJDS to be the best modern season of Survivor. I can't even forge together a narrative for what's happened so far this season.

Then again, this time last year we just suffered through the Woo boot and Cambodia is a season that literally had no cohesive narrative to speak of, so I guess things could still be worse?

I think the original tribes are given too much credit. The only people I see actually sticking together are/were FigTails, Ken/David, Bret/Chris and Adam/Zeke. The rest are all wildcards. Most of them would eventually just align with whoever to benefit their own game.

Michaela still bring up the top spot on my favourites. Everything that comes out of her mouth... I am enjoying. And Hannah was a gem tonight as well

Nice little moment with Jay in the beginning. Sooo hyped he found the idol.

I like that she was so blatant about it.

The thing is with her is that she is highly entertaining and a comp beast, but I think she'd be really awful to work/get along with in the game. I think her mouth will catch up with her at some point.

I don't really know who I'm rooting for at this point. I actually think I like Zeke the most. This season is not badd, but it's not great either.

I would have preferred Taylor targeted too, he's annoying.

I'm rooting for David. Zeke was ok till he had that crush on the sports guy.
