She'd have won if it wasn't for that week, up until that point all her performances was highly rated. She never really recovered from missing that week.

Courtney, Every point you've ever made on this forum has been shot down and proved wrong by nearly everyone here. She might have had a better voice, but she's the exact same as Leona Lewis and we didn't need two Leonas. Diana should have won because she was completely different and had something quirky about her, which is what the X Factor looks for, something extra.

I was rooting for Alex, JLS and Laura last season. I thought they were the best acts, in terms of Xfactor. And fair enough Alex won. I think she deserved it, and was the best live performer.
But I am pretty sure Diana has a lot more life in her, long term. I thinks he will establish herself more subtly and slowly. But will have a long career, if she ever get a breakout hit. Thats always the key.

But after watching some of her performances back I really like her, and i'm looking forward to the album next year

Early favourites NEVER win. Diana was an early favourite. Alexandra never became favourite until about week 8, and there were a few weeks when she wasn't far off the bottom 2. She was very 'meh' until close to the end. If it hadn't been for Listen I don't think she would have won.

Thats definitely true. Listen, won it for her in the final. I think Eoghan had the tweeny vote (very powerful), and jls imo, where the best act overall. But that Listen performance, was just ridiculously good.

She'd have been lost in the shuffle I think. Her album is gonna be big I think and she'll probably end up being an album artist rather then a singles based one so I think they just want a clear week to launch her on.

The problem with releasing an album quickly is that it'll be rushed and plus most X Factor albums that aren't winners albums tend to be full of covers. Dianas taking her time because she's got real potential.

Most X-factor stars rush albums out? Eoghan released one about three months after the final :\

Diana wanted to take time with her album and it would probably have been out around this time, but she took time out of recording and writing to do Little Voice, hence the delay.

I definitely think Listen won it for Alexandra, it gained her a surge of votes.

If it hadn't have been for that JLS would've taken it no problem, or even Eoghan considering he won 6/10 Live Shows. His fans were just outvoted by Alexandra's and JLS' towards the end.

it should have been the 3 girls in cheryls group (alexandra, diana and laura) in last years final, that would have been a great final night, but the public ruined it, although i will say jls did do a good job in the final. cant say the same for eoghan.
