Agreed, although I do think if she hadn't done that up until tonight then maybe the performance wouldn't have been so epic. Maybe it's been a ploy from Cheryl, Cher and Simon all along, who knows? She definitely played to her strengths tonight though, good on her.

Steady on Zee, I'd hardly call it epic. She didnt attempt some of the very high notes.

She proved she has a good voice but it was one good performance out of all of them. I'd like to see her attempt a few more songs like that though.

Hmm, I have to admit I liked her performance tonight,I know I'll likely get a rebuke for that from jedward fever when he is rightly back but fairs fair, she did the song well.She is not in danger this week.

it was a good performance but i think some people are going a lil over the top. I think the song she sang is what is getting her all the hype, its a great song which people are bound to love. Dont get me wrong the performance was good, but personally i think the song choice is why shes getting a load of hype over tonights performance.

in fact, she has been singing from the beginning. not worse than this and a few times slightly better.
Then she annoyed the hell out of everyone with the rapping shouting thing so you could say 'wow look she can rap too!'.
Then she returned to the 'evening gown solo' (which we predicted) for the quite emotional song.
Which makes everyone say 'wow! see she is a lady and a real singer!'.

But seriously - despite best efforts that is not good singing. Great song choice but not great singing.

*then again Rebecca hasn't proved she can rap and 'dance' like a tard so there you go.

Well according to one of the mags 2 of her family members passed away so she is bound to obviously feel a bit emotional.
